Barter, Trade or Gift

Grow so much food you can’t help but share it around! I’ve decided to sell food from my garden, but rather than having set prices, I will Barter, Trade or Gift my extra harvest ( and there will be a lot!). My goal this summer is to help make healthy, organic vegetables accessible for all.

Imagine if everyone you knew grew more than enough of their favourite food and we all traded? There would certainly be more than enough to go around. Living a Garden Life is easy and has all kinds of perks. Discover a network of likeminded folx who are willing to trade things made or time shared for something in exchange. Where things are valued beyond the dollar.

The more we share the richer we all are. Even if you can’t grow your own garden, maybe you have a friend who could use a helping hand? Or find yourself a small plot at a local community garden. Or tear up the boulevard of grass in front of your apartment and turn it into a pollinator corridor.

Many people just don’t know where to start. I’m writing this blog in hopes of inspiring others to go home grown or collaborate with those who do. One thing I’ve noticed is that I have truly come to appreciate food much more after learning how much work goes into the process by doing it! Not only do you appreciate it more, it tastes better too!
